Ellis Brook walk.

Well the Dog mad a good call today and we walked Ellis Brook, allong with Iain and his mate Jeff. We saw some of the Darling Scarps best.

It was the end of winter and the start of spring so Ellis Brook had water cascading over the top granite rock bar to form one of the few waterfalls in the Perth region. It then mianders along a valley it has cut into the side of the scarp.

We walked a good path that leads up parallel to the stream and gives a good close-up view of a wide range of flowers while bathed in their scent.

Views from the top are very good with some excellent remant Wandoo at the back.

Mark sighted a Golden whistler which was pretty kick ass, unfortanetley it moved prety quick and not a shot was taken.
I am having to check my plant names out to ensure correct ID as i aint no verbatum man. That will happen tomorrow.
Some more shots to come too if i get time......
