Cahill pulls Aussie World Cup hopes from the fire.

Tim Cahill scored twice in the last six minutes to pull the Aussie WC hopes from the fire, John Aloisi then added a third in extra time as The Socceroos won 3-1 victory over Japan. The results came late in the seccond half after Guus Hiddink rolled the dice and boldly substituted 3 strikers on to increase the pressure on the Japps.
Little Aussie legend Cahill came off the bench to score in the 84th and 89th minutes to overhaul a one-goal deficit after Japan had taken the lead following a contraversial mistake by Mark Schwarzer in the first half at Kaiserslautern's Fritz-Walter Stadium.
Aloisi then rounded off the victory for the Aussies. The first ever at the World Cup - 32 years after the our first appearance at the finals.

Meanwhile back in Australia the fans are excited.
